In the 1950s Tianzifiang originally was an industrial factory lane area. After the reconstruction in 2000, it became new area for art and design, a magnet for art galleries and young designers. It's a place where you can get a good feeling for the local creative arts, take a rest in one of the many romantic cafÃ©s and get an impression of the old Shanghai atmosphere as it used to be.
